I just installed a new one of these for a pet supply store because the one they installed a few months earlier cracked flooded their supply room. The new one immediately started leaking from where the light grey bottom connects into the black head of the unit. It won't stop, did I just happen to get a second bad unit from the factory or is there a common cause for this?

The idiots who installed my boiler in 2006 did not put it up on blocks or anything to even allow access to the drain on the bottom of the unit. The drain line runs on the floor to a drain about 2’ away. So maybe 1” of drop from point A to point B. The drain is in cement that goes 3’ over to a sump pump and basin. How can I get a condensate neutralizer in this setup?

We install a ton of these tanks all around the South Shore and they are great! Typically installed in an apartment with 1 or 2 bathrooms, and 1 hydrocoil for hear (we add the hydro kit). These are perfect for those situations. Mark is a great guy and really knows the HTP products. He is always willing to help out if you are having issues and can't get a hold of HTP Tech Support.

Dear HTP Management- I am writing this as I sit here with NO HEAT AND NO HOT WATER once again... I am currently on my 3rd HTP on demand boiler in the past 5 years - yes, I have had 3 units installed in just 5 years!!! While I appreciate you replacing these pieces of garbage under warantee, I have had to pay plumbers to install 3 times and also pay "restock"" fees at the plumbing supply house each time - I am into this for thousands of dollars. This most recent install was done in June 2023. It hasn't even lasted 6 months. I am disgusted.

Recently installed this unit with a incoming Caleffi PRV set to 25 psi on the Inlet, Pump runs CONTINOUSLY, and the Outlet Watts Water Pressure Gauge states 80 psi. Cannot get the Pump to Idle and illuminate a SOLID Green Light. Thus far, Franklin Electric Service Dept. can only say clean the Flow Piston, pump works well, but it just wont stop running and set idle. This is a new construction build and only three fixtures are opened thus far, Shower, Toilet and Hose Bib, nothing is leaking, using Uponor AquaPex.

I thought the oil in the vacuum pump is to lubricate the vanes. Yes some types of oil absorb moisture. tho I don't see how that affects the air pressure or vacuum suction, and the valves are closed.

What are we trying to do? Heat up water ...the water that our bodies are essentially made of. Why the heck should we heat water, to heat radiators, to heat air, to heat our bodies. Surely it makes more sense to heat air directly to heat our bodies? The only reason air-to-air may not replace a wet central heating system is because the insulation is so poor in concrete and brick houses. I think we should stop wasting money on complex air to water systems and spend it on insulation and MVHR. Our Swedish house stays at 21°C or more if the outside temp is above 9°C -with no heating.

I purchased a HTP Phoenix water heater with a Direct Fired Solar Supplement system (I am in Colorado Springs, CO). The company that installed the system went out of business. I have been trying to find another company that can support this system. So far, no luck. What's worse, HT Products (and Ariston Thermo USA LLC, the parent company) has told me that they cannot help me find a company that supports their products in my area. Needless to say, I would not recommend that you buy any HTP or Ariston products. You have been warned.

I figured this would be a good forum to ask a question? My radiator doesn't do any type of knocking. However it keeps cracking the air vents. In 3 years I put two air vents on. Both vents have cracked on the bottoms. Does anybody have any idea why this one radiator keeps having this issue? The radiator is on first floor, approximately 10 ft from the furnace, for which the furnace is in the basement. Any feedback would be grateful. Thank you

Had this one installed about 6months ago (2nd little Giant other one stopped working ). The PSI on the right side has been kicking in over 100 PSI. Also the have a pressure tank up (blue round tank size of basketball) top with a PSI gage also topping 100psi that started leaking water. The plumber came and replaced that gage with a 200psi gage. He said doesn't know much about these tanks which concerns me. He never touched the PSI gage connected to the right side that is still pushing out over 90-100 psi. My concern is that gage will start leaking. What advise can you give? Besides getting a plumber that knows more about in house in line pumps.

Guys, nice video but what about to purge the yellow hose before evacuation ? At the end compressor creates a little bit of vacuum as you said and suck in everything what was in yellow how. Since you did not purge it, then it sucked this oxygen in a hose, which is pretty long by the way, into the system. Or am I missing something ?
